Easy to prepare and delicious, these brain bites are a great way to incorporate Lion’s Mane into your daily routine.
Ingredients:
1 cup cashews
1 cup pitted dates (approximately 170 grams)
2 tablespoons cacao powder
2 tablespoons almond or cashew butter
1 tablespoon Markwood Mushrooms Lion’s Mane Powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
A few drops of vanilla extract
Desiccated coconut (optional, for coating)
Instructions:
In a food processor, blitz cashews and dates until finely chopped and well combined.
Add the cacao powder, nut butter, Lion’s Mane powder, chia seeds, and vanilla extract to the processor. Blend until the mixture is well combined and sticky enough to form balls when pressed.
Using a teaspoon, form the mixture into small balls (should yield 16-20 balls).
If desired, roll the balls in desiccated coconut.
Refrigerate the balls to firm up before serving, ensuring they hold their shape and are refreshingly cool.
